__________Biography
Full Name: Crispin Hellion Glover
Birthdate: April 20th, 1964
Height: 6'1"

Born Crispin Hellion Glover, April 20th, 1964, to actor Bruce Glover and Ballet Dancer Betty Glover, in New York City. Moved to Southern California as a child and attended the Mirman School, a private school for mentally gifted children in Bel Air, as well as Beverly Hills High School (class of 1982). Began his acting career in 1977, at the age of 13, with the lead in a stage production of The Sound of Music. Went on to guest spots on TV shows such as Happy Days , Hill Street Blues, and Family Ties. Made his screen debut in My Tutor (1983), followed by a role in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. The next year brought one of his most memorable roles, as George McFly in Back to the Future (1985), as well as a role in the independent film The Orkly Kid (1985). His next was a starring role in River's Edge, for which he won critical praise.

After declining to reprise his role as George McFly for Back to the Future II, the producers opted to recreate the character on their own, using archival footage of Crispin from the original film, interspliced with new shots of a different actor in prosthetic makeup. Mr. Glover hadn't given permission for his scenes to be used in this way, which led to a lawsuit against the film's producer, Steven Spielberg, that saw Mr. Glover as the victor, and also prompted the Screen Actors Guild to create new regulations regarding the use of actors' images.

His next role was in the David Lynch film, Wild At Heart (1990). The next year would see him in several films, including a brilliant portrayal of Andy Warhol in The Doors (1991). In 1993, he made appearances in What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Even Cowgirls Get the Blues. Dead Man (1995) and the People vs. Larry Flynt (1996).

Wrote his first book, 'Billow Rock,' before age 18, later followed by other volumes such as 'Rat Catching' and 'Oak Mot.' Released an album in 1989 entitled "The Big Problem [does not equal] the Solution. The Solution = LET IT BE."

Began shooting his directorial debut, "What Is It?" in 1995, and later used footage from the film to create a touring one-man show, "The Big Slide Show," which also incorporated excerpts from his books and album.

Late 2000 saw him with roles in Nurse Betty as well as one of his more popular roles, that of The Thin Man, in Charlie's Angels.
